I am very grateful for the spiritual discernment of the inseparability of God and man which the revelation of Christian Science has given to the world. Recently, I had an occasion to rejoice over the proof of this in the healing of what seemed to be poisoning, accompanied by acute pain for several hours. After trying to do the work for myself during the night, without meeting the difficulty, I called for the help of a Christian Science practitioner the next morning. The acute pain persisted until late in the afternoon. During this time I endeavored to hold in consciousness only the spiritual facts of existence as revealed in Christian Science. I had the desire to read in "Unity of Good" by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. On page 3 I read, "Within Himself is every embodiment of Life and Mind." Then came the beautiful unfoldment in thought that all of Love's manifestations are included in Love; and I realized that all that is true of me or of anybody is included in that embodiment. After the severe pain was healed I knew that it was right for me to complete the demonstration. This required several days, during which fear, condemnation, conflicting beliefs, and other falsities were cast out of consciousness.

I am very grateful for the faithful work of the practitioner, and for the wonderful protection of Christian Science.
