In counting the many blessings that have come to me and mine through Christian Science, I feel it a great privilege to be able to express my gratitude, including thanks for its Discoverer and Founder—our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

My first healing came when I had been reading Christian Science for only a few months. At that time I was healed of influenza by reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I began at the first page of the Preface and read on until I came to page 14. Before I had finished that page I was entirely free. I have never doubted God's law of perfection since.

My husband was healed of cerebral spinal meningitis after three of the best medical doctors in the Middle West had held a consultation and decided there was absolutely no hope of helping him other than to lessen the suffering. This healing was accomplished through the help of a practitioner.
