Notes from the Publishing House

Each year at this season The Christian Science Publishing Society offers a special combination of Christian Science literature, which may be used by Christian Scientists as holiday gifts for those who need encouragement and cheer. The good which results from these gifts is evidenced in the many letters received during the year from recipients expressing gratitude for the blessings which the gifts have brought.

The "Glad Tidings Gift" consists of one month's subscription to The Christian Science Monitor, four issues of the Christian Science Sentinel, and one issue each of The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Quarterly (January-March, 1937) for the price of $1.50. The offer will be effective from December 1, 1936, to January 31, 1937, and subscriptions will be entered currently any time between these dates. It will be noted that no special rate is made for the combination this year, in accordance with the present policy of the Publishing Society of not cutting the price of our periodicals.

The subscription blank enclosed with this issue of the Sentinel may be used for sending in a subscription, or coupons may be clipped from advertisements which are appearing in current issued of the Monitor. It is preferable to remit by check or money order, as it is not wise to send currency through the mail; or the subscription price in cash may be given to the local circulation representative or librarian, who will remit to Boston in the regular way.

Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
