It is with joy and gratitude that I take my place among...
It is with joy and gratitude that I take my place among others who are praising God for benefits received. I have had many healings, both through my own study and through the help of Christian Science practitioners.
Some time ago a spot broke out on my face. After trying for a long time to meet the error, and asking help of others, I became weary. Yet I felt there was healing for me in Christian Science, and I asked still another practitioner for help, which was cheerfully given. I was much strengthened by the practitioner's talk of God's presence and his positive assurance that all things are possible with Him. While waiting for the healing I received, I learned many things about God and His spiritual creation, man. I was healed of warts on my hands without telling the practitioner of them. I was also healed of lameness in my feet in a very short time. Through these healings my faith in Christian Science has been so strengthened that I am sure there is nothing impossible with God; and healing is assured when the truth is rightly applied.
I am very grateful to our beloved Leader for her beautiful teachings about God. I can now realize His presence as Mind, Principle, and through various experiences I have gained a much clearer understanding of eternal Life, Truth, and Love. I am glad to have all of the writings of Mrs. Eddy, which are so helpful. I am thankful for the periodicals, lectures, practitioners, class instruction, membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; for work in Sunday school, church services, the Christian Science programs that come to us from radio stations, and for the work of the Committees on Publication. I shall ever be grateful for the endless patience of a practitioner in my time of need. I myself learned how to be more patient, and to trust in Truth more assuredly. The healing was beautiful—divinely natural.
