Hundreds of thousands of Christian Scientists, in the past...
American Jewish Weekly Sentinel
Hundreds of thousands of Christian Scientists, in the past sixty years, have been healed of chronic, functional, and organic diseases, as well as other discordant conditions, through prayer alone, as taught in Christian Science. In fact, in many instances, medical doctors have told these individuals that they could do nothing for them, and have referred them to Christian Science, through which they were completely restored to health and happiness.
Christian Scientists agree with the Psalmist, who said: "Bless the Lord, O my soul: ... who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." Through holy, uplifted prayer, acknowledging God's omnipotence and omnipresence, they have raised many who were at the point of death.
