God's Care
I am
not poor, forgotten, or alone,
All that God has is mine to use and share;
I can receive these riches gratefully
And use them in His service everywhere.
Our Father's wealth is ever close at hand,
His gifts to us unlimited and free;
To gain them we but have to understand
The truth which brings to us our liberty
From doubt, anxiety, and haunting fear,
Which hide from us His ever-present love.
This truth supplies each smallest human need,
And will our ignorance of God remove.
"Son, thou art ever with me;" here and now
Within My kingdom safely thou art led.
"All that I have is thine," of joy and peace,
With heavenly manna satisfied and fed.
