I should like to express deepest thanks for all the blessings...
I should like to express deepest thanks for all the blessings which have been bestowed upon my family and me since friends acquainted us with Christian Science over four years ago.
At that time we had experienced bitter disappointments and ingratitude, and we were very unhappy. Through the loving explanations of a Christian Science practitioner we were soon freed from these evils. Our problems of supply was also solved through work in Christian Science, and the lack of both money and home was wonderfully overcome.
I am particularly grateful for a healing which I experienced in August, 1932. For ten years I had been suffering from trouble with the gall bladder; this difficulty kept returning at intervals and caused me great distress. The suffering was so pronounced from November to August that I was unable to retain any food. At the beginning of August I went to a specialist, who diagnosed the trouble as gallstones together with extreme swelling of the liver. He wished to operate at once, since the trouble was one of long standing. The gall bladder and appendix were to be removed. I refused to have the operation and put my trust more firmly in God's help.
