I am grateful for the privilege of expressing my gratitude through the Christian Science periodicals.

After spending two weeks in a hospital under medicalcare and two more weeks at home to recuperate, I went back to business. I was advised to have dental work entailing an expense of four hundred dollars and not to eat certain kinds of food. After a year of careful diet I had a return of the trouble. Just about that time I had been told of a wonderful healing in Christian Science and I decided to see a Christian Science practitioner. I was so filled with fear that when I arrived at the practitioner's house I cried out my trouble to her. She listened and then quielty said, "Let us say the Lord's Prayer." She also told me to read and study "the scientific statement of being" on page 468 of Science and Health. A few days later, I realized that I was eating the things that I had been warned against, and I knew I was healed.

Shortly afterward I had an attack of biliousness, from which I had suffered at intervals for many years. I asked for help, but did not receive immediate relief, and called the practitioner again, saying that if I did not get relief I should be compelled to take some medicine. I am so grateful to say I did not find it necessary to do so. I was healed.
