Christian Science has brought so many good things into my life that I feel compelled to write the following testimony, hoping that it may help others who are struggling with a false sense of matter.

At a time in my life when I was at the crossroads, as it were, when that which I had loved and for which I had worked for many years had been parted from me, I asked myself the question, What shall I do now to fill this vacancy? In earlier days I had been a member of an orthodox church and had taken some part in church work, but now this did not appeal to me as an answer to my question, nor did the thought of a merely social life come as a solution.
