With a sense of deepest gratitude I should like to give my testimony and tell of a few of the many healings and blessings received since I began the study of Christian Science about twenty years ago.

The first was one which took place when our first child was born. The attending physician stated that a normal birth would be impossible. A Christian Science practitioner was called and absent treatment begun, with the result that the birth was in every respect, to the great amazement of the doctor. This experience was so to us all that our Christian Science study dated from that time.

When our son was about three years of age he oak poisoning. The case was so severe that nearly his entire body was covered. I telephoned to a practitioner and in twenty minutes the child was asleep. He slept all night, and the next morning there was not a trace of rash on his body. At two different times we have had very quick healings of pneumonia. One case was at the time the socalled epidemic of influenza so prevalent during the World War. were in for influenza, and because the serious condition of the patient, members of the family were called to the Christian Science practitioner was called to the house. The recovery was so rapid that in three days the child was up and about the house. We have had healings of quinsy, chronic throat trouble, influenza, gastritis, ankles, and a tendency to take colds. A case smallpox was healed in a few hours.
