At the age of a year and a half my youngest daughter sustained a painful injury which developed into an abscess and then blood poisoning. I was greatly worried and alarmed for her life. My husband, who is not yet a student of Christian Science, wanted to have the child treated by a physician; but I had more trust in God than in any other help and knew that He alone is our Physician.

I went to a Christian Science practitioner, related to her my worry and alarm, and asked for help. She gave the child absent treatment and reminded me again and again to look constantly and faithfully at God's reflection, the immutable image and likeness of the creator, always well and harmonious, and not to see the false testimony of the material senses. I obeyed as well as I could; and with my heart filled with deep gratitude I can testify that at the end of about one week the child was entirely well again.

I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity of attending the Christian Science services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings, and of gaining gradually an ever clearer understanding of Truth.—(Mrs.) Grete Tosini, Hansa-Humboldt, Santa Catharina, Brazil, South America.
