As long as I can remember I was what is termed delicate...
As long as I can remember I was what is termed delicate, and was under the care of medical men. Over four years ago I turned to Christian Science, this wonderful truth which indeed sets free. I did not then know what spiritual joy was to be mine as I studied the Bible and Science and Health, and other Christian Science literature. I have been healed of tuberculosis, or so-called lost substance of the lungs, thereby proving that substance is spiritual. This healing was not a quick one, and discouragement tried to manifest itself many times. I am hoping this testimony will help someone who may feel discouraged, for I have proved, by steadfastly pressing forward and upward, that we are freed from material beliefs or mist dreams, and are made to realize that we are God's children of light, joyous and free.
I have had many other healings, of influenza, corns, and a tendency to frequent colds. I deem it a wonderful privilege to belong to this great army of soldiers, steadfastly about their Father's business, and am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church. Words can never convey the joy which our beloved Leader has brought into countless lives by her interpretation of the Bible, which shows to us so clearly the truth which Jesus gave to the world and proved. I should also like to express deep gratitude to the practitioner who guided my thoughts and helped me when in need. I am deeply thankful for God's protecting power; this has been proved to me many times. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for all the joy, peace, and abundance of good which has come to me since I have become a student of Christian Science.
