Your contributor, in his article on "The Church and Healing," said, "Christian Science would do well to talk less of Mrs. Eddy and her so-called philosophy."

Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, is its natural Leader. She has revealed to this age that the teachings of Jesus are available at all times, and applicable to all human conditions; she has proved them to be a living power today as surely as they were nineteen centuries ago. Christian Scientists are constantly reminded, through the daily benefits they receive from Christian Science, that they are deeply indebted to Mrs. Eddy for the consecration of her life to the service of humanity, and, whilst they acknowledge God to be the source of every good gift, they would be lacking in human affection if they failed in gratitude to her.

Your contributor also said that Christian Science should admit that "different diseases needed different treatment." Christian Science is daily proving that there is no sickness, disease, or discord of mind, body, or estate that is beyond the power of God to heal.
