Solomon in his beautiful prayer at the dedication of the temple prayed for the stranger, saying, "Then hear thou from the heavens, ... and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for; that all people of the earth may know thy name." Jesus prayed that all mankind should know, and love, and worship the Father.

"Jesus' prayer for all his brethren:
Father, that they may be one,
Echoes down through all the ages,
Nor prayed he for these alone
But for all, that through all time
God's will be done."
