Removal

As far as east is from the west,
So far doth God remove
Our sins from us,
For naught but good
Abides in light of Love.

As far as east is from the west,
So far must lack take wing
From God's dear child,
For whom His care
Provides each needful thing.

As far as east is from the west
Does sickness too take flight:
A shadow dark,
Which fades away
Before the dawning light.

As far as east is from the west,
So tearful grief must go,
For in God's realm
Of endless life
There is no death to know.
