I am sending this testimony in the hope that it will help someone as Christian Science has helped me. I was afflicted with rheumatism and arthritis, which were very painful, causing attacks of lameness. These lasted eight years, confining me to crutches. My hands were affected to such an extent that it was impossible for me even to dress without assistance.

Christian Science was brought to my notice by a stranger. Its first ray of light showed me that there was divine healing in the world; and with the help of a Christian Science practitioner, I began to wake up. I turned to God, and started to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I continued reading and was not long in finding more light. It has given me hope, courage, faith in God, joy, health, healing, and freedom, enabling me now to walk where I will without crutches.

I am deeply grateful to God; to the practitioner who has so lovingly given me help when called upon; and to Mrs. Eddy for showing me how to live. My prayer is that I may be able to demonstrate Christian Science more in my daily life.—(Mrs.) Nellie C. Jobes, Red Bank, New Jersey.
