I shall never cease to be grateful for the day that Christian Science was brought into our home by a very dear friend. I was asked to let the children attend the Christian Science Sunday School, and since they were not attending any other I consented; and it has proved to be a great blessing to us all. Through them I took up the study of Christian Science, and we have had many proofs of its healing ministrations. One of the first was the healing of our son of a severe case of diphtheria. Since then we have had other healings in our family, such as of headaches, colds, influenza, tonsillitis, malarial fever, and burns.

When by accident I cut a mole on my face, and in doing so cut a small vein, I was most beautifully healed of the results. This condition healed over, but a growth formed which was very unsightly, and dire results were predicted. Through the constant application of the truth as taught in Christian Science, the condition was entirely overcome, leaving no blemish. Another healing I experienced was of a condition wherein one of my feet and a limb became swollen, causing me much suffering and discomfort. This, too, was overcome through the applied understanding of this wonderful truth.

I am profoundly grateful to God and to our revered Leader for this wonderful religion which is teaching mankind to know Him. I am grateful for the privilege of being a member of The Mother Church and a branch church; also for class instruction.
