Since I first became interested in Christian Science I...
Since I first became interested in Christian Science I have been helped in so many ways that I joyfully send my testimony to bear witness to the power of Truth.
My first healing was one of sorrow at the time of the passing on of my mother. I was upheld, and enabled to take up work entirely new to me, which, without Christian Science, I could not have done. I am grateful for much physical healing. When I was young student of Christian Science I was healed of pneumonia with complications. This healing seemed slow, but it proved to be a time of progress for me. I shall always be thankful for the loving patience of the practitioner in those early days. Another healing I experienced was of appendicitis. For the fuller understanding of the omnipresence and power of Truth which I gained at this time I am most grateful. I received great help and encouragement by holding to the truth in the ninety-first Psalm and getting some realization of what it means to be in "the secret place."
I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us Christian Science; for the practitioners and friends who have helped me; for class instruction; and for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church.
