It is with great gratitude that we wish to tell of the blessings that we have received since becoming acquainted with Christian Science.

My father was healed of violent pains in the loins and of influenza. He was freed from a rupture which was growing larger and which made him suffer each time he had to do any work requiring exertion. My mother owes her health to Truth, for three years ago she was so ill with peritonitis that without the steady help of a faithful Christian Science practitioner, who always helped her to understand that God was her life and that her true being was not touched by anything erroneous, she would not be with us today. A severe hemorrhage was stanched instantaneously during a telephone conversation with the practitioner. My mother has also been freed from a soreness of the throat which used to appear at a certain time of year, as well as of violent neuralgic pains in the jaw.

I myself have had many proofs of the all-power of God. Some years ago, when the thought of my apprenticeship came up, I was led to the right place and was very happy there. Today, also, thanks to Truth, I occupy a very desirable position. One day I was quite remarkably protected. I was standing at the top of a ladder to do some painting. This ladder was propped against some glass panes and rested on slippery ground. All at once, without my knowing exactly what happened, the ladder slipped and I fell from a height of several meters, without hurting myself; but I had to stop my work for that day, because my fellow workers were so afraid when they saw me on the ground that they insisted on my going home.
