Several years ago I took up the study of Christian Science when I was greatly in need of health. I had been given up by our family physician and other professionals, who told my husband that there was no hope for me. When I was waiting for the end to come any day, a friend called on me and gave me a Christian Science Sentinel, which I read with interest. A practitioner was called immediately, who asked me to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. The following Sunday the friend who had given me the Sentinel took me to church in her car. When I returned home I relaxed into a deep sleep. When I awoke that afternoon, I was healed. The next day I got up and did all my laundry and housework.

I have since been healed of colds, fever, heart trouble, poor circulation, burns, deafness in one ear, pains, fear of dental work, pleurisy, influenza, ptomaine poisoning, sore throat in various forms, and fainting. Also, after having a nurse with me day and night for almost three years, I had to overcome the fear of being alone in the house. I can never be grateful enough for Christian Science and to Mrs. Eddy for discovering this wonderful truth.

After all this good had come to me the family soon took notice, and my husband of his own accord went to church with me every Wednesday and Sunday. Our two daughters attend a Christian Science Sunday School. They too have had many experiences of healing through the study of Christian Science.
