I wish to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School and for the consecrated work of all our Sunday school teachers throughout the world. The loving guidance and comforting counsel that has been given to me by my Sunday school teachers has been a source of encouragement in times of confusion and strife. The joy that flows from my heart for this activity of our movement, as founded by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, comes from the hearts of thousands of children in many lands who are enjoying this sacred privilege.

I began attending a Christian Science Sunday School as a child, and many were the healings I witnessed during that time, some through my own work, many through the loving help of my Sunday school teachers. I have experienced healings of severe colds, influenza, grippe, crushed fingers, wounds regarded as serious, and unclassified physical disorders, as well as protection from accidents and from the temptations that attend social activity.

I am grateful for the degree of progress that I have made in the last few years. It was not until I left high school and got out into the business world that I began earnestly to seek the truth as brought to us in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I realized then the need of protecting my thought against "aggressive mental suggestion" (Church Manual, Art. VIII, Sect. 6).
