It is over twenty years since I first turned to Christian Science for help. At that time I was suffering from a nervous breakdown, the second in five years, and was very despondent. I was unable to find relief in any of the methods known to me, but I still believed that God had provided a way out of these seemingly impossible difficulties, although I almost despaired of finding it. Then the thought came to me to investigate Christian Science. I acted upon this immediately, and in less than a week I was back at my work.

I had been obliged to go away and naturally had lost contact with my work, but I soon found that with the help of Christian Science not only my health improved, but my business as well. My first year in Science I progressed more in a business way than in any previous five-year period. Ever since then Christian Science has been my only help spiritually, physically, mentally, and financially.

I have been healed of many physical disabilities, such as constipation, rheumatism, intestinal influenza, and blood poisoning, and I have come to have a deep respect and love for the truth as taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I am grateful for a new outlook on life that finds joy and contentment in spiritual things, rather than in the material and artificial. I do not think I could have carried on without this understanding of Christian Science. I thank God for Mrs. Eddy and the light her teaching is shedding in the darkness of today.
