Christian Science is Christian because its teachings correctly interpret the words and works of Christ Jesus. It is Science because it is demonstrable in accordance with definite rules.

It is sometimes mistakenly said that Christian Science denies the divinity of Christ. The teachings of Christian Science on this point are very clear and admit of no misunderstanding. That Jesus manifested and demonstrated Christ is one of the cardinal teachings brought out in our textbook. No Christian Scientist questions the divine origin of Jesus. Because of his divine origin he was fitted to be the Saviour, or Way-shower, of the world.
