I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science

I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I am happy that I was reared in the Christian Science Sunday School and that our son, who is fifteen years old, has had this privilege too and does not know the taste of medicine. He has been healed of many ills, among which are colds, whooping cough, constipation, measles, chicken pox, and ivy poisoning.

One Sunday morning while preparing breakfast I turned a pan of boiling grease on to my foot. Instantly I declared there was "no pain in Truth, and no truth in pain" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 113), and that I was spiritual and perfect. I finished preparing the meal and suffered no pain or discoloration of the foot. When my husband and our son came to the table I told them of this added proof of the presence and power of God as taught in Christian Science.

About two years ago an oculist told me I had one of the worst cases of astigmatism he had ever seen. This condition was healed after I had Christian Science treatment for about ten days.
