God Will Not Let Me Go

God will not let me go,
I cried in deepest need His love to see,
Through prayer, and that my life like His might be.
And now He will not let me go.

God will not let me go;
Though sense would blind, He guides and wakes
me there.
I cannot wander from His tender care;
His love I hold; I live, I know.

God will not let me change my course
When sense would turn or lead astray;
No power can swerve God from His way,
Or sever life from Soul, its source.
