Lecturer: Professor Hermann S. Hering; introduced by Matthew Schneider, who said:—

Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer, Founder, and Leader of Christian Science, was ever mindful of one thing when she was inaugurating the activities of this great movement—that was healing. She knew that through healing as brought about in Christian Science there come regeneration and spiritual living. Through the understanding of the everpresence of divine Mind, divine Principle, we hear of many healings taking place at these lectures as well as at our church services, and by the reading of the authorized Christian Science literature. Every person in this large audience can receive good from this lecture. Some may be instantaneously healed of sickness, or of domestic or business troubles. Others can receive the seed of Truth that will grow to bear much fruit in later years. One thing is sure, that you may never lose the truth you receive this evening; it will remain to help when you most need it.
