It is with humble gratitude to our Father-Mother God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, to Mary Baker Eddy, and to all practitioners who so lovingly help us, that I wish to share some of the blessings we have received through the healing efficacy of Christian Science.

Our two children have been healed of mumps, measles, and various other so-called children's diseases. My husband has been healed of influenza and lumbago. I was healed of a fractured shoulder socket in two weeks, when according to physicians nothing but radium would save the bone from becoming cancerous. Due to paralysis in that side since childhood, the bone had been pronounced unhealthy. Grief over the passing of my father was instantaneously healed when I turned absolutely to God.

Our son was healed of appendicitis; and we had fresh cause for gratitude to God for His protecting care when this son was also healed of infantile paralysis. For two or three weeks he was unable to move. Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 495), "When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea;" and on page 261, "Hold thought steadfastly to the enduring, the good, and the true, and you will bring these into your experience proportionably to their occupancy of your thoughts." The truth of these statements was proved by an absolute healing of this condition. He was not allowed to attend school during the semester, but was permitted to take his examinations. We are grateful to say that he passed with excellent marks in every subject, proving that God's work is perfect. During this trial, I rejoice to say, many other erroneous conditions were uncovered. I am grateful for a greater dependence upon God, and for the loving help of the practitioner, which sustained me through it all.
