Whatever the coming years may hold of hardship and difficulty we can win through triumphantly if only we will recognize that the future is in our own hands.

There is an enormous and increasing call for personal service. Every member of the elder generation can be a partner in a joint enterprise—in the promotion of youth's opportunity—to see that every boy and girl in this country should have a fair chance. Let each one of us ask of himself what he is doing, or is prepared to do, to give them that chance.
