So numerous and unmistakable have been the proofs in my experience of God's loving care, and of the healing efficacy of divine Love as revealed in the teachings of Christian Science, that as an expression of gratitude I give the following testimony.

Some time ago an acute attack of inflammation in my eyes, accompanied by pain and blurred vision, was healed in four days by Christian Science treatment. At another time an attack of lumbago rendered me so nearly helpless that it was necessary for my food to be cut into small pieces, as I could do no more than lift it to my mouth, and this with difficulty. This condition was instantaneously healed as I read on the fourteenth page of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy the following: "Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual,—neither in nor of matter,—and the body will then utter no complaints. If suffering from a belief in sickness, you will find yourself suddenly well. Sorrow is turned into joy when the body is controlled by spiritual Life, Truth, and Love."

A few years ago our little dog's foot became sore and continued so for some weeks until the trouble was quite malignant. This condition was instanteously healed through the unfolding to my consciousness of the spiritual creation, as I read the first chapter of Genesis in connection with the Lesson-Sermon for the week as given in the Christian Science Quarterly. Also, through that wonderful glimpse of the perfection of God's finished work, a member of my family was healed of a so-called incurable disease, and I was healed of an extreme fear of dogs—hitherto a source of distress wherever and whenever I chanced to meet or see one. For the joyous freedom from this bondage of fear, I am grateful beyond the power of words to express.
