So much love and so many blessings have come to me through Christian Science that I wish to express heartfelt thanks for them. I myself have experienced its benevolent, purifying, healing, happifying nature many times, and have seen its effects on others. Through it I am daily blessed in great and little things. How could it be otherwise? Christian Science acknowledges only the one God—Life, Truth, Love—all-embracing, all-powerful, ever present; it proclaims and performs only His commands.

Christian Science is unlocking the Bible for the seeker and leading him to God. Rightly understood and applied it destroys the false evidence of the corporeal senses. In our family inharmonious physical conditions, such as grippe, inflammation of the throat, rash, bronchial catarrh, and headache, have been healed through Christian Science. In many cases we had the loving help of a practitioner. Several years ago, through Christian Science treatment, my brother was set free in about two weeks from a disease for the cure of which a doctor had ordered him to stay many weeks in the hospital. Through the healing ministry of Christian Science also my sister was able after several months to lay aside glasses which the doctor had prescribed for nearsightedness.

Faults of character, such as selfish ambition and vanity, were destroyed when through the light of this teaching they were unmasked. Distressing circumstances under which I had suffered a long time were made harmonious when I learned to realize that each one of my fellow men, as well as I myself, was in reality a child of divine Love, and could reflect only love. So I have learned that it is the result of false thinking alone when things seem to go wrong for me. In proportion as I learn to see the perfection of all creation, as I do good according to my highest understanding and think the truth, the good, about all people and all things, in that proportion I experience happiness and harmony. I am thankful for the teaching that we must not flee from the claim of error, but from the standpoint of God, Truth, right on the spot where error claims to have power, we can and must prove its nothingness.
