Joyfully I avail myself of this opportunity to express my gratitude for the privilege of becoming acquainted with Christian Science. It was at a trying time, when sickness was weighing heavily upon us, that the rudiments of this new, yet old doctrine were presented to me. Through the study of this truth my family and I were released from anguish which threatened to rob us of all courage to go on living. I was also healed of what was considered a serious disease; and our son, through the loving aid of a practitioner, was freed from a chronic condition attended by inflammation and fever. Christian Science has furnished us with a firm foundation upon which to build our lives anew.

For all the blessings which have come to me and to my family through Christian Science during the five years that we have studied it, and for all the great truths we have learned from this study, we can never be too grateful. However, of the greatest value to me, now and forever, is the fact that Christian Science has taught me to know God as my Father, and has given me an understanding of the Bible, which before was to me a closed book, absolutely incomprehensible. Through its teaching I have found the living Christ.

My greatest desire now is to hear, learn, and understand more of the truth in Christian Science, so that I may be able to avail myself more fully of all the goodness which God so richly bestows on us.
