Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." It has been proved to me many times, through the study and application of Christian Science, that this truth of which Jesus spoke is operating today just as it was in his time.

I turned to Christian Science for the healing of a tumor. Physicians told me I should have to be operated on immediately, but gave me little hope, owing to the many erroneous conditions present at the time. In my extremity I decided to try Christian Science. It had been presented to me before by my mother, who, having received many benefits, became a very devoted student and worker; but I was not ready for it then. It is needless to say I was healed of this condition, and of stomach trouble and shortened ligaments which had been torn in an accident several months before.

I had not been able to raise my arm above my head, and osteopathic physicians had said they might gradually be lengthened with months of treatments. This healing was instantaneous. The stomach trouble was so perfectly healed that it did not come to my thought until a year later that I had ever suffered from this condition.
