The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Boston, Massachusetts (The Mother Church).

Lecturer: Albert F. Gilmore; introduced by George Shaw Cook, who said:

May I say for the information of the strangers who are within our gates that our lecturer needs no introduction to Christian Scientists, as he has long been well and favorably known to them through his writings in the Christian Science periodicals. He has chosen for the subject of his lecture, "Christian Science: The Revelation of the Perfect Man." Surely this subject should be of vital interest to those who are seeking an answer to the question of the Psalmist, "What is man, that thou art mindful of him?" As you listen to the lecture to-night I am sure you will be convinced that there is in Christian Science a fully satisfying answer to this momentous question. Jackson, Mississippi (First Church).
