As many ask, "Is Christian Science healing permanent?" I would say that it is now over twenty-eight years since my first testimony appeared in The Christian Science Journal, relating my healing four years before, in one week's treatment, of organic heart disease, dropsy, and kidney trouble; and I have never had the slightest return of any of these conditions. The dear practitioner, who had been listed in the Journal ten years at that time, is still at her post, busy in the Master's vineyard.

With the physical healing there came a wonderful spiritual regeneration, which brought my forsaken Bible into daily use, as it was rendered so clear and practical through the study of our wonderful textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, God's messenger to this age. This new light on the Scriptures enabled me to lay aside glasses and realize my complete healing of double astigmatism and nearsightedness; and now, in all these years—with grown grandchildren—I have never needed glasses again. None but the creator can bring such healing. And thanks to our dauntless Leader, God's will is being done "in earth, as it is in heaven," and the Master's teachings in a large degree are being lived and demonstrated. Our entire family—three generations—are Christian Scientists.

Since my first experience in Christian Science, thirty-two years ago, I have witnessed the healing of almost every so-called incurable disease, including cancer, tumors, consumption, and smallpox, the last leaving not a scar.
