It is with a great deal of gratitude that I add my testimony of the healing power of Truth as revealed through the study of Christian Science. This study has completely changed my thinking and has brought a change from an attitude of discouragement and despair to a sureness of hope and faith. It has brought a change from a condition of physical disability to a condition of physical well-being. It has brought a change from darkness to light—to the dawning light of understanding.

I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, but to aid and encourage another who was in need. Imagine my surprise, therefore, when after three or four months' study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in conjunction with the Bible and the study of the Lesson-Sermons, I found that gastric ulcers from which I had suffered for fifteen years, and for the relief of which material remedies and the skill of many physicians had been exhausted, had been completely and, as it has proved, permanently healed. It was in this fashion that I was brought face to face with immutable Truth, and learned that Truth is kind loving and beneficent.

I am deeply and sincerely grateful for the loving-kindness and the firmness with which my feet have been guided into the true path of progress by a loyal, steadfast Christian Science practitioner. I have not the words with which properly to express my gratitude for the light of Truth; for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and for the words and works of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
