In acknowledgement of the numerous blessings which I have received through the study and application of Christian Science I send this testimony of healing.

At a time when the way seemed very dark, when all that meant human happiness to me had almost without warning been swept away and my faith had begun to waver, while error whispered that this indeed was something which Christian Science could not meet my eyes fell upon these words in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 5): "The healing power is Truth and Love, and these do not fail in the greatest emergencies." With renewed faith I was enabled to press forward, and I can now rejoice because the truth of those words has been demonstrated in my own experience.

Through the loving and faithful help of a practitioner and the application of my own understanding of Christian Science I was able to prove that, as Mrs. Eddy tells us on page 57 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "Happiness is spiritual, born of Truth and Love." I now have peace and joy which far exceed that which I thought I had lost. I am able to rejoice in the knowledge that man can never be homeless, because "in him [God] we live, and move, and have our being." Work opened up for me in which I had had no previous experience, and in the doing of which I was able to be of great service to many others who needed help and love; tasks which I should previously have considered myself neither mentally equipped nor physically strong enough to undertake I have been able to perform happily and harmoniusly in the knowledge that Love enfolds and protects me and that my strength is spiritual and not physical, remembering our Leader's words in Science and Health (p. 385), "Whatever it is your duty to do, you can do without harm to yourself."
