I have been a student of Christian Science for many years. During this time it has been our only physician and has met our every need. No medicine or material remedy of any kind has been used to effect the healings. I have been healed of serious, painful hemorrhoids; also, bronchitis and tonsillitis have vanished. The last two ailments had been chronic since childhood.

One winter I was desperately ill. Just what the difficulty was I cannot say, but it became so alarming that I seemed to be passing on. My heart failed and I was not fully conscious of all that went on about me; but with the loving and faithful help of a practitioner and friends who read to me constantly for several hours from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, this condition was destroyed. To-day I am well and strong.

Words can never express the deep love and gratitude I have for our Leader for what she has so lovingly and untiringly given to the world in this glorious truth which is for all; and I am inexpressibly grateful to God for guiding her to this truth. My daily prayer is that I may "go up higher" in the understanding of God and the operation of His law and "be watchful, sober, and vigilant," as she counsels (Science and Health, p. 324).
