Christian Science healed me of tubercular knee joints after a number of conscientious medical doctors and surgeons had failed to bring about any permanent cure.

This healing in Christian Science, which took place almost thirteen years ago, was quick and has been permanent. When I asked for absent treatment I could not walk. The next day I went alone to the practitioner's office, and in two weeks the healing was complete. I had spent many years in hospitals and on crutches, having been greatly troubled with this condition of the joints since I was eight years old. Just prior to my healing in Christian Science I had been three years and a half in one hospital, not walking at all during that time.

I became interested in Christian Science through a copy of The Christian Science Journal someone gave me to read. Soon after this I was staying with friends who were beginning the study of Christian Science, and it seemed quite natural to read the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly with them and attend the church services. I very quickly lost all faith in medicine, and so this did not have to be considered when I turned to Christian Science for physical healing. The healing I am most grateful for, however, is the overcoming of resentment. I had struggled with a great sense of injustice for about a year, and with the help of a Christian Science practitioner was healed of this.
