In February, 1928, our boy was very ill, and in accordance with school rules we were obliged to have medical advice. The doctor could not diagnose the illness, but thought the child's lungs were tubercular and asked to have a specialist see him. This verdict of the doctor did not disturb me in the least, and the words of a very beautiful hymn came into my mind:

"God could not make imperfect man,"
also,
"The hand that fashions is divine;
His works pass not away."
