I wish to express sincere gratitude for what I have experienced...
I wish to express sincere gratitude for what I have experienced through Christian Science. Through the reading of our Lesson-Sermons from the Christian Science Quarterly and the kind help of a practitioner I was healed of asthma, from which I had suffered for a number of years. I have also been healed of many other troubles, such as the tobacco habit of more than twenty years' standing, headaches and dizzy spells, and a severe cough that had troubled me each year for a number of years. Aching teeth were healed in a very short time, and influenza was overcome through one treatment from a practitioner and the understanding gained from study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. These are only a few of the healings that have taken place since I took up the study of Christian Science.
I am very grateful for all the activities of the Christian Science movement, for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for the privilege of being an usher in our church and serving on one of its committees. I am also very grateful to God, and to all those who have helped me along the way.
George R. Champion, Janesville, Wisconsin.
