Nearly six years ago Christian Science was introduced to me by one of my daughters who had taken up the study of it for insomnia. I felt at once that I must go to a service, and I shall never forget the peaceful atmosphere and the feeling of joy and love that immediately came over me after I satdown. It is with a heart full of gratitude that I give a few of the demonstrations of the healing power of Christian Science which have been experienced in my family.

A wonderful demonstration was the saving of a dear one who suddenly seemed to be passing on. I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner, who commenced work at once. Meanwhile, I kept repeating aloud the words, God is our life and our salvation, in Him we will trust. Through the loving help and devotion of the practitioner this one was able to walk upstairs in two hours and is now quite well.

I also have great cause for gratitude for a beautiful healing I had in October, 1928. A hard substance had formed in my breast and was for some weeks very painful. Although I studied our textbook I did not seem to get any relief. I did not mention this to anyone at home. I went to the testimony meeting on Wednesday evening. While there, so great was the pain that I felt I must ask for help, but these words came to me, "Cling steadfastly to God" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy,p. 495 held this in thought until I went to bed, striving to realize that this error was not real and did not belong to me as a child of God. When I awakened every trace of the trouble had disappeared. I was full of gratitude and joy for the wonderful truth which makes us free.
