I have had ample proof that God is an ever present help and always available under any circumstance. Before I took up the study of Christian Science, conditions seemed well-nigh unbearable. I was laboring under a sense of deafness and continuous bodily pain for almost a year. I tried every material means I could think of, without the least benefit. Then I was led to Christian Science by a very dear friend, and can gladly say I was healed.

This is only one of the many blessings which have come to me through the study and application of Mrs. Eddy's teachings. I know that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need," as she says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494). I feel very happy to tell of this healing. My great desire is expressed in the words of the hymn:
