I am so grateful for Mrs. Eddy's spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures as given to us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Through it I have received various healings for which I am very grateful. Before coming into Christian Science I had a felon on my thumb, and after suffering for some time I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. Since then the same difficulty tried again to present itself and these words of a hymn came to me:

"O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer."
