Words fail to express my gratitude for Christian Science
Words fail to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I have had many beautiful demonstrations of this healing truth, among them being the healing of cancer of the breast. This demonstration was very slow, but through the loving help of a practitioner the thought of pain and anxiety was quickly and completely overcome, and my life became truly harmonious. I am very grateful for this prolonged healing, as it gave me a deep and lasting confidence in God's protecting care, and the conviction that with Him "all things are possible."
When the realization came that I was seeking spiritual understanding, instead of physical help, and there was really nothing to heal but wrong thinking, it was not long until every discordant condition disappeared into its native nothingness, and I was beautifully healed. I am so thankful for the destruction of the pernicious belief in heredity, my father having passed on with the same disease. I am grateful for the wonderful assurance accorded me during my son's service in the war. My suffering then would have seemed unbearable had it not been for reliance upon divine Love, and I was comforted on many by consoling words of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, so beautifully expressed in the line (Poems, p. 4), "His arm encircles me, and mine, and all."
I am grateful for the help I am ever receiving in solving my daily problems. My heart goes out in boundless gratitude to God, to Mrs. Eddy, who has revealed to us this sublime truth, and to the dear practitioner who helped me so faithfully through the years of seeming trouble.
