I wish to testify to the healing power of Christian Science as taught by Mary Baker Eddy. I first learned of Christian Science by reading a criticism of her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I then felt I should like to read the book, and a copy was kindly lent me from the Reading Room of First Church of Christ, Scientist, London, England, where I then resided. While reading, I was healed of eczema of the ears, which the doctor had told me could not be cured.

Since then I have had many healings, some with the loving help of practitioners and some with the little understanding I have gained; one was the healing of my thumb while working a sewing machine. A needle broke and part went nearly through my thumb. I pulled it out with plyers, and continued my work, and in a few minutes it was all right. I may add that the needle was quite bent when pulled out. Also I have had protection in falling.

I should like to say how surprised I was the first time I entered the above-mentioned church at the wonderful congregation. I am grateful to God, to our Lord and Master, Christ Jesus, to Mrs. Eddy, and to the loving practitioners who have helped me; also for the Christian Science literature.
