I consider it a great privilege to testify to the regenerative and healing power of Christian Science. I have experienced both, and am very grateful indeed.
As an uncontrollable temper and a tendency to criticize others have been put off, I have received many blessings in better health and finances. There is still much work to be done, but I am trying to do as Mrs. Eddy tells us in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 261), to "hold thought steadfastly enduring, the good, and the true."
Our three children have looked to God for all good for the last eight and a half years, and He has never failed us. Our healings have been numerous; among them the overcoming of colds, measles, influenza, and depleted finances. Our infant son was healed in one treatment of a defective eye which was about half the size of the other, after the trained nurse in charge had told us it would probably never be normal.
I am most grateful for every activity of The Mother Church, for church membership, and for the practitioners on whom we can rely.
(Mrs.) Edith C. Montague, San Diego, California.
