Before coming into Christian Science, I was known in the...
Before coming into Christian Science, I was known in the office as the "girl who faints." I need not say that it was very embrassing to be referred to thus. I went to doctors for a number of years, but never seemed to receive any help, as they did not understand me. All they could do was to prescribe more medicine and tell me to avoid excitement. I could never do things like other girls, and naturally kept to myself. Several years ago, I was offered Christian Science. I accepted it, as I was tired of going to doctors and taking medicine. From then on I have never tasted a drop of medicine, and I can go around and do things without thinking of fainting. This was made possible through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and the help of kind friends.
For this and for numerous other blessings I am extremely grateful. — (Miss) Frances Cousar, Chicago, Illinois.
