Lecturer: Prof. Hermann S. Hering; introduced by Erich Hieber, who said:—

If you ask a Christian Scientist about his religion,—his faith,—in short, about the nature of Christian Science, he will usually begin his explanation by joyously relating what great blessings he has received through his knowledge of this Science and the application of it; how he has been healed of disease, physical or mental; how unpleasant conditions have been remedied, and how peace and harmony have come into his life. Yes, we as Christian Scientists have all proved that we have not chosen merely some religious or philosophical theory as our guide to eternal life, but that, through Mary Baker Eddy, primitive, vital, and practical Christianity has been revealed to us again—Christianity as taught and practiced by the great Nazarene.
