It is with great gratitude, and the hope that it may be of help to someone who is weary, heavy-laden, and discouraged because of slow healing, that I give this testimony. About fourteen years ago I turned to Christian Science, of which I knew nothing, being told that I could be healed of rheumatism and fallen arches. A specialist had said I would never walk again, and that if I did I would have to learn to walk as a child. My healing of this was very slow, but many minor healings were taking place, among them that of astigmatism, although I had been told I should always have to wear glasses. I was also healed of constipation, headaches, bilious attacks, and nervous prostration.

During all this time I was under Christian Science treatment from a loving and patient practitioner, for which I am most grateful to her. Christian Science has taught me to know God; and the Bible has become a new book to me. Christian Science has been my only physician since my healing. I am grateful to God for Christ Jesus, the Wayshower, and for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who discovered this wonderful truth.—(Miss) Jessie May Parker, Arlington Heights, Massachusetts.
