An article appeared recently in the Bulletin reporting some remarks in regard to divine healing, made by a physician at the annual meeting of the British Medical Association. He is reported to have said that "any systematized creed which dispenses with the art of medicine and surgery is false to the Divine Being." It is plain that in that statement he is referring to Christian Science. It is obvious that Christ Jesus, in practicing his system of healing, did not employ medicine or surgery, yet he healed all manner of disease. It is clear also that in so doing he was not "false to the Divine Being." He said plainly that he came to do the will of God. His healing work was in accordance with the divine will. It was true to God. He has borne witness of himself—"I do always those things that please him." So also Christian Science, which to-day employs the spiritual method which Jesus used, is in accordance with the divine will. It is true to God.
